TranslationReverence before Kōtaijingū
In Ise, land of the divine wind, at Isuzuhara where the bells are parted, mighty palace pillars rise from the deep rock and chigi reach high; there stands the great sanctuary of Amaterasu Sume Ōmikami,
and at Yamadahara in Watarai, at the Outer Shrine, mighty palace pillars rise from the deep rock and chigi reach high; there dwells Toyouke Ōmikami.
Before the kami enshrined with them in the two sanctuaries, and before the kami of their branch sanctuaries and shrines, I bow with reverence and worship from afar.
