The assembled priests and ritual attendants are commanded to listen. By the authority of the ancestral kami dwelling in Takamanohara, these words are declared before the kami enshrined in the heavenly and earthly shrines.

On the middle Day of the Hare in the eleventh month, the Sovereign Grandchild partakes of the great feast as the enduring food of heaven. Because the kami join in blessing the rite and protecting the reign so that it remains firm and flourishing,

The Inbe carry the offerings in purified service with a broad sash across the shoulder. The priests and ritual attendants are instructed to receive them and present every item without omission.
