TranslationReverence to the wind kami of Tatsuta
Before Ame no Mihashira no Mikoto and Kuni no Mihashira no Mikoto—also called Shinatsuhiko no Kami and Shinatsuhime no Kami—who are enshrined at Tachino in Tatsuta, Heguri District, Yamato Province, where the great pillars of the sanctuary stand firm: with care, reverence, and awe, I bow before them from afar.
Editorial note
This is a short morning prayer from the Hirata lineage. It is distinct from the ancient Tatsuta Wind-Kami Festival Norito preserved in the Engishiki and is not labeled as a current official prayer of Tatsuta Taisha.
