TranslationReporting the offering to the Imperial Great Kami
By the Emperor’s command, these words are addressed before the Imperial Great Kami enshrined above the Isuzu River at Uji in Watarai. The great offerings customarily presented at the Grain-Petitioning Festival in the second month are entrusted to the appointed envoy and reverently offered. At the Regular Festival, the name of the sixth-month observance is substituted.
